Lukas Feldbusch is currently employed as a Latent Print Examiner for the New Hanover County Sheriff's Office (NHCSO) located in Castle Hayne, North Carolina. He joined the NHCSO in November of 2019.

In 2011, Lukas graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Appalachian State University.  Shortly after, Lukas began his career in forensics with the Raleigh/Wake City-County Bureau of Identification (CCBI).  In 2013, he was promoted to work within CCBI’s Latent Print Unit.

Lukas is an International Association for Identification (IAI) Certified Latent Print Examiner (CLPE).  Additionally, Lukas is an active member of the International Association for Identification, Chesapeake Bay Division of the IAI, and North Carolina IAI.  Lukas began serving as a member of the NCIAI Board of Directors in October of 2023.
