Brooke Fail is a Crime Scene Supervisor with the Wake County Bureau of Forensic Services (formally CCBI). She supervises six Crime Scene Specialists, is the Peer Support Coordinator for her agency, and is a Technical Leader for the Crime Scene Science Division. Brooke has been with Wake County since 2010. She is a Certified Crime Scene Investigator through the International Association for Identification.

 

Brooke is co-chair of the North Carolina IAI’s Conference Committee and a member of the Awards/Goodwill Committee. She has previously served on the Merchandise Committee for several years.

Brooke has a Bachelor of Science in biological sciences from North Carolina State University and is a current member of the International Association for Identification (IAI), as well as the North Carolina Division of the International Association for Identification (NCIAI). Brooke is also a recipient of the FBI LEEDA Trilogy Award.
