Chair of the Board- Casson Reynolds

Casson Reynolds is an instructor/developer with the North Carolina Justice Academy under the North Carolina Department of Justice.  He is tasked with developing and instructing in Advanced Forensic Topics to include shooting incident reconstruction, bloodstain pattern analysis, photography, advanced documentation, ballistic math, property & evidence, and search & seizure.  He was sworn in Law Enforcement from 2003 to 2017 where he spent most of his career in a forensics unit.  He started with the NCJA in 2017 and teaches and presents all over the country. 

Casson is the President of the Association for Crime Scene Reconstruction (ASCR), a voting member of the AAFS Standards Board (ASB) in Bloodstain Pattern Analysis, a member of the International Association for Bloodstain Pattern Analysis (IABPA), a member of the International Association for Identification (IAI), a member of the South Carolina International Association for Identification (SCIAI) and a member of the New England International Association for Identification (NEDIAI).  He has a Master of Science from Boston University in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor of Science from Radford University in Criminal Justice, and he is pursuing his PhD in Forensic Science through Oklahoma State University.

Casson is a Certified Senior Crime Scene Analyst and has his Advanced Law Enforcement Certificate, his Advanced Gang Investigator Certificate, and his General Instructor Certificate.
